Cart seems to jump or start with a clunk
Hello
I have a 1984 36 volt club car. The cart works well. A few weeks ago we changed the rear leaf springs from the factory 1 leaf to a heavier 3 Leaf setup. We can now use the rear seat without bottoming our however now when we press the accelerator pedal the cart does not take off smoothly. It starts off with a clunk/jolt. I have noticed that the first speed relay barely moves the cart. I’ve checked and the motor and shaft are firmly secure. When pressing the accelerator I can hear the first couple of relays click as the cart starts to move. Issue happens in Forward or reverse. Many thanks for any help |
