Default Re: Lift Kit Question

You could combine a 6" spindle lift with that lift to get a 10" lift. I am thinking of doing the same with mine.

I'd prefer not going higher then 8" (for fear of rolling it!)
I'd rather go with a 6" lift total...

I My cart!!!...
(plus...It's fairly NEW!)

There is a couple at my campgrounds that have an '04 Lynx,
they have the original 4" lift with a 8" A-arm lift on top of that...
that's up there... (I'm worried their going to get hurt!)

BUT... Mine goes much FASTER!

I'd prefer to keep it fast... and yet... do some climbing that might be "Out of the Ordinary" at times...

I want Speed... AND... Agility!
(Or...just have fun & be safe!)

Plus...
I might be a little older then some of you guys (& Girls)...
I just couldn't imagine trying to get up on a 10" lifted cart after a few cold ones...
(well.. I probably could... or would... or did...)

I don't know much about the Jakes LT lift but don't you have to cut the frame anyway for the long travel kits? So it wouldn't matter that it has the factory z-lift. If your wanting articulation a LT kit is the only thing that will increase that.

Wink Re: Lift Kit Question

Let's wait on tungpo, but I think you do not have to cut anything for the Jakes LT. I would leave the "z" lift and simply add to it...as previously mentioned..maybe a 4" lift or PQ adjustable lift? I don't know just throwing out ideas!

And, they're good idea's!!!

PM sent to Ron...

But it's also my understanding that IAMCOOL is quite the CC guy!

I would just like to get it "a bit" higher... but not HUGE!
again...speed and safety... and then I'd have to get bigger tires and rims...
(Honey... I've got some "splainin" to do!)

4" lift, on top of the existing 4" MAY be acceptable,
but would prefer dumping the "body lift" and putting on a GOOD lift!
