Lift Kit Question

I recently purchased a 2001 Electric Club Car. I am looking to lift it with a six inch lift kit. Not sure wheter or not to do a spindle lift or A- Arm lift. Can I do a lift and still use the factory wheels and tires? I'm new to this and trying to figure it all out. I plan on in the future to upgrade the wheels and tires, but first I want to lift it. If any one can offer any advice to me it would be greatly appretiated. Thanks!

I would do it all at once for a number of reasons. One is that you probably will not be able to use your factory tires and rims. You probably won't want to once you see how it looks with a lift and the 18 inchers.

I prefer spindle lifts, but the "A arm" lifts handle better. They aren't a true a-arm, but they're as close as you'll get in that price range. They're more expensive, though. I would recommend a Jakes or All Sports lift kit. Get it from Cart Parts Plus or East Coast Custom Carts, Inc. BU lifts are shoddy.

also with some lifts the front stock rims wont work without offset rims

there is also z bracket lifts to retain factory ride and steering...2and a halfinch...4 inch...7 inch..9inch and 20 inch electric

The Z-Lifts are facory authorized too...as well as the Jakes Lifts. You have to cut the frame for a Z-lift.
