Default 98 Club Car loses speed control

Hi, new guy here. Just bought a 98 Club Car and it is my first cart ever. I have figured out how it operates and it runs fine for about 15 minutes. It decellerates downhill like it should then after 15 minutes of so it stops decellerating down hill and coasts. It gets up some serious speed so I apply the brakes and when it slows some, it seems to sense the overspeed and stops plugging the motor real hard. The reverse buzzer sounds intermitently while it slows to a stop. If you mash the throttle pedal it will go again. None of this happens the frist 10/15 minutes of operation. Any suggestions or thoughts on why or what causes that? Thanks for your time. Joe McCoy

Yep... that's normal!

That's the regenerative (regen) system working, as it's supposed to!

So you're saying it is suppose to start coasting downhill and not control the spped after 15 minutes like it does the first 15 minutes?

Actually, now that I think about it... No
And, to be totally honest, I've never tried it on my 48V...
but, I will this afternoon!

Hopefully someone can chime in, and lead you in the right direction!
