Default 2009 XRT 850 - Very Slow

As the title indicates, I have a 2009 XRT 850 and it is running too slow. It used to run faster. I thought it was that the batteries were shot so I replaced them. 4 Trojan T-1275s. This really didn't change anything, except my bank account.

The cart seems to start off just fine but it tops out way too fast. It used to be much faster. I don't know the actual before and after speeds, but it is most certainly noticeably slower than it used to be.

I noticed that it doesn't have the little warning beep when I am rolling down my driveway without giving it gas. I hear that might be related to the speed sensor, but I wanted to check with you guys before going off and replacing more components.

Do you guys have any advice? Also, if you think it is the speed sensor, could you tell me the kind I need? Thanks a ton in advance. You guys really are great.

Your speed sensor is out. You are in limp mode (which is 1/2 speed). Get an OEM replacement https://www.revolutiongolfcars.com/motors not Amazon or eBay Chinese junk. And when you remove it, inspect the magnet that is under it to ensure it is not broken.
