1995 DS Mystery Drive (MCOR)?
I have a 1995 DS, 48v. Had it a while and just getting around to working on it. It also has a "B" prefix on the serial number which my research indicates was a rolling chassis/motor/drive system for a company called Elmco to make high end custom carts on a DS platform.
Has no v-glide/MSP. There is a box underneath to the left of the go pedal that I can hear what sounds like a micro switch clicking when pedal is depressed. The box has 4 wires: green and white, yellow, black and a purple. Has an OBC which I plan to dispense with. Has rotating FNR switch. Can't find a wiring diagram for this. Bought 6 new batteries yesterday. Motor has been tested good. Anybody know what this is? Thanks! |

That is a potbox and were used in '95 and part of '96. They are fine, but when they go you will have to do an MCOR 4 conversion as parts are no longer made for repairs....

Thanks Nole. Wanted to find out before I put batteries in this thing. So, I am assuming it did not go over well and they went back to a MSP (v-glide style)?

I am not sure why CC went back the V-glide after mid-'96. Maybe the Potbox was too expensive - David will have to let us know.... |

Dangit. The last box of quarters I sent you weighed 850 lbs.
Can I send a check? |

Seriously, thanks for the diagram I need that. Was it in the stickies? I did not see it.
