Default Stealth nighthawk steering components

Anyone know where to find steering parts for a stealth knighthawk? I believe itís the outer tie rod (upper one).
Any help would be much appreciated

You can email either sunco at stealth 4x4 or call dave at renegade carts. I just purchased a complete rack and pinion steering rack from. Unfortunately the racks we have are not being made by the same company anymore so it may be hard to find parts. Dave at renegade has new rack and pinions that will fit but I donít think the parts are interchangeable. Iím going to have one good one off of my old rack if you canít find a new one, unfortunately the other is shot.

Many golf cart and ATV tie rod ends are the same. If you can’t get one though stealth look around at places that sell ATV parts like EPI Performance.

Looking at the picture that rod end is installed wrong. The stud should point up, so the tie rod is straight out when the suspension is at normal level. Being installed the way it is will lead to premature wear and major bump steer as the suspension changes angles.

I also have a broken tie rod on my stealth. (Passenger side) I spoke with Renegade and he said their racks are a little different and it will be a few weeks until he has an extension fabbed up to work with stealths... how did yours work out for you Wturnage29?? I want my cart back rolling soon!

Cartcrazy1986 the new steering rack worked fine after I brought it to a local welder and had them adjust the length of my steering extension. Mr. Dave has said he would make it right with me so no hard feelings there. I’m diving off into this thing like crazy this offseason. My brake pads need to be replaced, I have a noise that sounds like it’s coming from the box in the rear that the drive shaft connects to. I’m hoping sunco can help with the brake pads and some help with trouble shooting this noise. If you need any assistance with changing the steering rack just let me know. I can tell you I couldn’t remove mine without first taking the dash off then removing the bracket that holds the steering column in place. I was doing the whole job solo, you may not have to go through all of that if you have someone to lend you a hand. Good luck

Thanks for the steering rack info! I measured my extension and it measures 13Ē. Dave says he thinks it will fit mine with no mods.. my cart had a strange almost grinding noise coming from rear end also. It was slack in the chain causing the chain to drop and drag along the steel box covering it. There are bolts under your gearbox that driveshaft connects to. Slack those and and you can adjust chain tension. Mine had been that way since Iíve had it and now my small sprocket is worn and needs replaced. Hope that helps you! What kind of top speed do you get out of your cart?

Thank you for the video, Iím going to look into that this weekend. Iím not sure about my top speed but I can tell you it climbs steep hills in muddy conditions without a problem. The 13Ē measurement of your steering extension, was that from end to end or just the solid bar in the middle? Do you have a Nighthawk? I have attached a photo of my old extension and the one that came with the new rack. Like I said Mr. Dave made it right and if it doesnít fit for some reason Iím sure he will make it right with you if for some reason yours doesnít work out.

I measured just the solid bar in the middle. I think it should fit, or be modded easy enough. No, I donít have a nighthawk, i have a Commander. Mine has lots of torque also!! I do wish it had a little more top speed though, as I have to travel 4 miles down the highway quite often. I love my stealth though!
