Default Magnet question

I am replacing my speed sensor and magnet on my 2009 precedent and the magnet that is currently on the cart has 3 dimples and a 2 stamped in it. The one they sent me has 3 dimples and a 3 stamped in it. (See pic) anyone have any idea what the number and dimples mean?

I had that conversation with David (RevolutionGolfCarts.com) before, it does not mean anything as far as number of poles, they are just manufacturing mold marks.

I recently purchased a 2014 C.C. Precedent 48v. Was thinking about replacing the magnet, increase top speed, will this have any adverse effect on the cart, batteries, etc.?

The speed magnet only works on IQ carts, Your 2014 is an Excel (ERIC) cart.

Not all of the 14s were ERIC carts.
What's your Serial number?

That would only matter if we were discussing ERIC in regards to the speed magnets, the Excel was long before '14 and that J model is an Excel and speed magnets are no good on them.
