Default 32 California Roadster

How do I find out the year of a 32 California Roadster?
What is the value for it? I have a chance to buy for $3800.00 new batteries
Is that a good price?

I don't know anything about those. But that price with new batteries is a steal.

Hope you know the owner, sounds like a scam to me.

The year of it is not important.

I've worked on a couple of those that had an ID plate on the forward facing part of the seat base, to the drivers side of the shifter. It looks like it may have been removed or relocated to paint it? ACG (American Custom Golfcars) has a website that includes wiring diagrams and other info that may help you narrow down the year based on how that cart is set up, but as Mooncarter suggested the year doesn't really matter that much.

Seems like a decent price. Ive seen that cart for sale for at least a year now. The cart is advertised on my local craigslist but is actually in Maryland according to the ad which I thought was weird. I would look it over really good and make sure it drives nice and that it actually exists before I hand over any money. No cracks in fiberglass, etc. No roof isn't for everyone. Its also not a very common cart so body parts, etc. are not easy to come by so be careful with it.

Be careful with low prices on Craig’s List. There are a lot of scams around.

I have always thought those things were very cool, and chased one down a couple years ago that was in rough shape.
I gave it up because of the unknowns for finding parts.
I hope it all works out for you and looking forward to hearing more about it if you get it.
