2002 Club Car 48v DS Battery Indicator
I have a 2002 48V DS IQ with a Curtis battery indicator. It has 2 wires hanging loose from it. 1 has a blue wire on it and I assume that it goes to the normally off side of the key switch so that it sees the 48v when I turn the switch on. The other connector has an orange wire on it which I assume is suppose to be connected to battery ground or 48v ground. I don't know where this is usually connected. Also, the indicator has a terminal on it that is unused. I don't know what this is for. Anyway, to make a long story short, does anyone know how to hook in a Curtis battery indicator? Thanks, Bill from The Villages.

Re: 2002 Club Car 48v DS Battery Indicator
These are generic instructions. Not Club Car specific.
The model 906 is very common and likely used by Club Car IF it was installed at the factory. Be aware that there are clones out there that look the same but aren't internally. Also note that when connected correctly the meter is always on and what you are switching off and on with the key switch is meter illumination. Pin 3 normally not used in golf cart installation. If this is insufficient be patient for others to respond. Holiday weekend. |
