Default FSIP torque motor came today

The little woman said there was a really heavy box on the porch when she got home thinking it’s the new motor. I don’t think mounting the motor is going to be a problem. Trying to download that field map will be the biggest challenge of the install. I am going to have to borrow a laptop mine died a year ago never replaced because of the I pads. The people that have done this before are saying 5min that is just not realistic for me. I don’t know anything about computers or software. I have been looking for a video on this there is a couple on the older alltrax controllers is there a updated one on YouTube. Anyway I am definitely putting it up on blocks this time. Last time I drove it through one of the garage doors. I just had one 19’ door installed and it costed more than I paid for the golf cart. Will be installing on Saturday

No need to put it on blocks. Just put it in TOW mode and disconnect the main positive and negative battery cables. The Alltrax will power up via the power from the USB cable. The car does not need to provide power to the controller for it to work. Follow the directions in my email and you should have no problems. If you do have a problem, call me and I'll walk you through it.

It really is easy. Just get the correct map for your motor from Alltrax, place it on your PC, and open the Tool Kit.

I will take some screen shots in a little while and post them. I have to mess with one after dinner.

the blocks are Incase I mix up the F1. And the F2. Wires again or whatever wires i mixed up changing the controller. The cart took off full throttle because it thought it was in drive tires squealing and everything. It’s funny now. It wasn’t then.

Ok..... pay close attention to the terminal orientation on that FSIP motor. You're going to notice that the A1 and A2, along with the F1 and F2 are mirrored when compared to your old motor. What's now on A1 will now be on A2, and what's now on F1 will now be on F2. Just swap the A's and the F's and you'll be good to go.

Do all golf cart motors have that stainless steel ring around them I assume to access the brushes. It seams to me if I got stuck in a mud hole and the motor was under water it would get in there and damage the motor. I thought these were sealed motors. Any thoughts on this.
