Electric golf cart comparison and advice
I am interested in buying a new electric cart for 2 passengers, either Club Car, Yamaha or EZ Go. Price range $5,000-7,000. Located in S.F. East Bay Area (good climate). I will use it 2-4 times per week including a half mile drive from home to course on rolling hills. I cannot find any good buyers guides or product comparison reviews. Can anyone help?

Re: Electric golf cart comparison and advice
As long as you stick with the Big 3, Yamaha, Club Car or EZ-GO, you will be fine. If you check out this thread below, it shows my opinion on different carts.

Re: Electric golf cart comparison and advice
I have had a gas EZ go 2 cycle a 92 can't say much for it but was a ok cart. I now have a 95, and a 97 CC both sparkies. Have had trouble with the charging systems but thats all which is more than enough. Where I use the carts sparkies are great for the fact the are very quiet. We have high speed motors in them, and will gps on the flat at 25 on the 48 volt system. Can not talk about yammies as have never had on but they too are a reasonable cart from what I have seen. One here in the mobile home park, and seems to be relitve trouble free. Have seen old cushmans that were a headache as many of the older Harleys, and Par Cars. Mainly on getting parts easily.

Hello Brad Blake and Welcome to the forum.
Notice what the golf courses are buying and leasing. Yep, stick with one of the big 3. |
