What rear view mirror do you recommend for a DS?
Want something that doesn’t look completely out of place and provides a good rear view.

It depends. A 5 panel wink mirror generally works well, but If you have a lower roof or any type of valence on your roof, your vision may be blocked except for a few feet directly behind you. My valence hangs down only 2 inches from the roof, but that was enough to basically render the wink mirror useless. I ended up mounting both driver's side and passenger's side mirrors. They give me full visibility. My city ordinance requires either a center rear view mirror or dual side mirrors for a street permit.

Don't know what a wink mirror is and don't like the 5 panel ones either; I got the 12" long convex mirror on ebay

Well someone tell me what the benefit is to the panel mirror. I have them dang things and I hate them. I do not understand the benefit of them as they are 5 separate pieces of glass tilted on way(?)
I need to lower all of mine on the newer carts as the back canopy wraps down and prevents about 1/2 the view.... |

As NCPW said a "wink" mirror as we used to use them in race cars. You can look into them in a "wink" and see all around without moving your head.
