Sumptin wong!
I suspect it is something minor, but I am hang it up for today. For the past 8 hrs I have been working on the DS Lynx, replace solenoid with a 400 amp, HD FNR and 2ga. cables and had to totally remount the solenoid and 600 amp Alltrax. AFTER remounting the controller and solenoid I checked it by moving forward and reverse. After installing new FNR with cables to motor it will not move. The solenoid will click but that is it. What do I have backwards
I truly believe if everything had been in the 'open' and easy to get to, I could have done it in 2 hrs |

Re: Sumptin wong!
A picture is worth a 1000 words. But the obvious would be in the cables or with the Micro Switches,

Re: Sumptin wong!
It seems it would be impossible to get a picture of cables running from FNR to controller and motor in rear, but I will do the best I can tomorrow.

Re: Sumptin wong!
What is the controller LED blink code when the solenoid clicks? Push the gas just enough to hear the solenoid click while somebody views the controller LED>

Re: Sumptin wong!
Did you tighten the wires on the front of the F&R switch where the heavy duty buss bars run from side to side? Even those two terminals where you don't have wires need to be tight. Take a picture of the small wires where they connect to the micro-switches on the back of the F&R as well. Did you double check them with the diagram I sent you?

Re: Sumptin wong!
LOL ...... I did not even know the controller had a LED? Is it possible to place something on pedal to hold it down while I view it, no help around today? Will it blink only once, or continuously when depressed?

Re: Sumptin wong!
I have checked and rechecked my cables with the notes I made before removing them .... all seems right. Small color matched wires on FNR appear right, as other wires appear to be that are not color matched.
I numbered old fnr 1-4 for cable attachment, and where the ends attached to motor and controller, with pics. Looking down toward the motor from rear of car thru inspection door. #1 and 2 are on top of motor, 3 is on bottom left of controller, 4 is on bottom right of motor.
