My carts don't get used year round like my UTVs do. Have a '10 Ranger 800 and a '14 Mule 4010. I've spent more money on repairs for the Mule and Ranger this year than I have on the 18 golf carts in my fleet. (I say my because I fix them, but they belong to the company I work for)

Once the carts are in good working shape, they just keep chugging along with minimal maintenance (comparatively). I do have a few carts that have been in use throughout this off-season that simply need an occasional water check and wash the batteries off, and keep some air in the tires.

Getting ready to put u-joints in the rear axle of the mule again... seems like it needs those every 4-6 months, regardless of how often I grease them.

Are any of the carts modified or so they have stock components? That's crazy that u_joints only last 6mo my uncle has had a 4010 for years that he uses every day for at least 20-30min drive time and still oem

We've had it just a hair under 4 years, and just rolled 2,000 hours, and it doesn't exactly get the easy life. Talking to the guys at the kawasaki shop where I buy parts, alot of the stuff I've had to do to it is common. But it does alot more work than we could expect a golf cart to do, and there are times it's the only thing that will get through the fields because of the 4wd.
