97 club car motor and controller upgrade
So I'm saving to do this up grade. I want some opinions on what controller and motor and anything else I would want to do while I'm doing the upgrade i know i will have to change the wire harness to the new IQ style. The cart has a 6" lift and 23" tires on it. looking for most torque I can get using it around farm and for hunting thanks.

Re: 97 club car motor and controller upgrade
I talked to David guess I just wanted to hear some people say do it you'll be happy I have never been around a cart modified this way hate to spend the money and be disappointed I was considering a ranger or mule but the wife likes the golf cart so thought this would be next best thing

Re: 97 club car motor and controller upgrade
If you think the cart is expensive you do NOT want a UTV. Kawasaki and Polaris parts are $$$$.

Re: 97 club car motor and controller upgrade
This is true. It's probably not the most fair comparison but I don't know what to expect after doing the controller and motor swap. I have never been around a "hotrodded" golf cart I have been on many utvs
