How long ago did you change the batteries? Did you update the charge profile in the charger?

Unplugging and then plugging back in immediately usually triggers an equalization charge which is usually good for the batteries. It can take several hours but 8 hours does seem a bit long.

You might want to get DeltaQ IDAT software and download the charge data from the charger. Check out which algorithm is loaded and check the charge record to make sure it’s fully charging the pack.

Did it stop charging all right, or did you pull the plug on it?

That almost sounds like a total recharge. Check the pack voltage before you take the cart out for the day. Check it every day or ever other day for a couple weeks and make sure the battery voltage is staying steady after charging. If you notice the voltage declining each time you check it, (50.9 one day, 50.7 next day, 50.4 couple days later, etc.) you’ll need to get the charger checked to make sure it has the right algorithm.
Not getting a full charge will damage the batteries.
