| ![]() Based on Nole's recommendation I bought a Victron. The one I got is the BMV702 with a Bluetooth dongle so that you can view the measurements on your phone through the Victron app. The 702 can also measure the centre point of the pack to help keep an eye on the pack balance. It's not cheap, I got one on eBay for about US$160 with the dongle (you can probably get it cheaper in the States). It will fit in your hole but I understand that many people think it is an overkill and too expensive. It works very well though and is great if you want to really see what your batteries are doing. When you think about it if a meter of that expense helps you lengthen the life of an expensive battery pack by even a few months it has paid for itself. |
