Re: Brand of Batteries
I have used OEM, US, Trojans, Interstate, and Crowns, but the last several years have solely used US Batteries and have loved them. I would take any of the 3, but the best $ deals have came from US and they have been great for warranty even when it a our fault....

Re: Brand of Batteries
I have a set of Energizers from Sams Club from 2009. Officially 10 years old and they still can bark the tires of my ‘85 Club Car DS with a PQ motor on resistors. They have never been allowed to corrode.

Re: Brand of Batteries
My EZ-Go is running “Trojan Black Box” batteries. I think they’re three seasons old, running fine on another PQ motor.

Re: Brand of Batteries
I've ran Trojan and US Battery packs and both performed just fine. Got 5 years out of the Trojans and was on my 2nd year with the US Battery pack before switching to lithium and they were still going strong.
I made sure to clean my battery tops religiously, kept connections tight and water levels at 1/4 - 1/2" above the plates. I think the maintenance more than anything gives a pack the longest life |

Re: Brand of Batteries
I unfortunately went cheap and purchased Duracell GC8's before I found this forum. They have been good so far. I just received a new DPI charger and will be bypassing the OBC so I can finish breaking them in.

Re: Brand of Batteries
I have had carts with most all of them. Right now I have a set of Interstates about 3 years old no problems. Also, a set of PRECISIONS from PASCO. Bought a couple months ago. Have kept them charged but very little use of them so far. Other cart is gas.

Re: Brand of Batteries
Duracell batteries dated 3/14. Fingers crossed I get just one more year out of them, since they’re beginning to slow down.
