Carryall 2 Charger???
Hey folks,
I just bought 2001 electric Carryall 2, and going to go pick it up on Thursday. I haven't actually seen it yet (auction) but know it does not have a charger. Can someone tell me what kind of a charger I need to buy for this thing? I believe these were only offered in a 48v flavor, I just don't know what kind of connector I need to look for so I can order a charger for it. |

Re: Carryall 2 Charger???
Wait until you get it home and see if it runs. If it does not and/or needs the OBC to be replaced/removed this will determine the charger you need.
Or, it may have already been removed/bypassed. |

Re: Carryall 2 Charger???
It runs and drives. I don't know complete health of the batteries but I called to ask about pickup and stuff, and the guy said this one is easy because it drives great so will be easy to just drive it up onto the trailer.
I don't think the carryall 2 had on board charging though. Pretty sure it's just a receptacle where the choke is on my gas carryall. speaking of, is there any size/length difference between a carryall 2 and turf 2? not sure what the differences are between them |

Re: Carryall 2 Charger???
Not on board CHARGER, on board COMPUTER. And yes it has one or somebody has removed it.
If it has one still in it and it is being used this will help you with the decision on the charger. The OBC requires a special charger. (Look at what CTD posted) |

Carryall 2 Charger???
If the OBC is still good, I have a PowerDrive 2 charger for you. It doesn’t have a DC output cord though, so not sure how good it is.
Connector should look like this: |
