Default 2007 Club Car Precedent Electrical issue(s)

Hello, I have a 2007 CC Precedent, and very little experience with carts.
Ours is a 48 volt system, and stock! No mods. Here’s my questions, issues...
Was driving, dropping off someone at a deer stand, on dirt trails, and there was a very bright Flash, from left side of cart, underneath... then smell of electrical burning. Cart died, I hear a click from solenoid, but still nothing.

Talked to a local cart / small engine mechanic (don’t think he actually knows anything about golf carts as some his answers were kindergarten) anyways, he said it sounded like the MCOR, so, we changed the MCOR, still nothing but a clicking from solenoid.

Can’t find a dang electrical schematic for our cart, or a service manual... (actual manual).

Need some serious help, with trouble shooting / symptom diagnostics, and where things are located.

cart is at my uncles farm, (he is an elderly fella, sight not so good)...2 hours away from my home, and he lives out in The Sticks.... with minimal internet access when it works, so I need diagrams, photos that is can print off and carry to the farm.

Thanks for the help.

sounds like a battery might have blew up.

If cart immediately stopped, looked real close at all the batteries, and see if 1 of the tops of the battery looks like it has a crack in it.

Yep, I am with STS, that was a battery or cable burning up. Check the pack voltage and see what it reads....
Here is a schematic

Ok, will check batteries.
Thanks for the schematic!

Just to clarify,....

Check across whole battery pack from main POS to main NEG. should read 48 volts...?

yes, that will tell you the total pack voltage.

Then also, go across each individual battery to see the voltages. Thats where you will find the weak or bad battery. If each individual battery is ready close to each other, ( say 8.?), then you come to a battery that reads 6, 0r something significantly less than the others , then that is probably the battery you heard pop. That would be the bad one.

And if all the batteries check out, check the cables going to the solenoid and OBC and the Motor to Controller as something with high voltage/amperage blew out....

That's what he is doing with the batteries and cables. They both have plastic/rubber.

Roxyflash Had a good answer. There wasn't any need for Nole to discredit it.

What? Wasn't discrediting him, point was that's what we are telling him to look for as the plastic and rubber creates a burnt smell.... Don't assume Walt, it just shows your lack of maturity and decorum....
