Why do you need to change them, or, what is your goal?

Goal would be to run a updated bulb with low cost involved instead of buying a whole new kit

Re: Front orginal 97 D's lights converted over to led with new socket
I installed new complete LED headlights in my DS cart that didn't have the factory lights. The aftermarket lights are smaller in size and will not cover the cut-outs in cowl once the factory lights are removed. Just a suggestion, you could gut the factory lamp and trim the factory light housing letting it remain to cover the void, then anchor the new aftermarket light to the factory housing.

Re: Front orginal 97 D's lights converted over to led with new socket
https://www.amazon.com/MICTUNING-Bac...mictuning+2pcs. I installed this in my 2003 DS it had the factory lights. Had to cut the light bezel so the light would mount flush. This company also makes smaller ones that may work better for you.
Thinking about it they were not the factor lights. I got a used set of light bezels that these led light would fit in with a little work. Like I said the make smaller ones also. Some thing to look in to. |
