intermittent reverse
2013 or 2014 club car precedent forward is fine all the time. Reverse is intermittent and just wont go. It seems to do it at the best time when your not thinking about it and you pull into a parking spot. So you have to push it out.

Re: intermittent reverse
Usually that is only 1 of 2 things. A bad or failing rocker switch (easily removed and tested/cleaned or replaced) or a failing controller.....
Pull the Rocker switch and clean it and check the switch numerous times while actuating it and make sure it works every time. (just hook your meter to it) There are 3 wires connected to it, just note the color orientation and then remove them. If after cleaned and verified, it still does it, you can swap the F1 and F2 cables to verify it is a controller issue. Don't forget the to place it in Tow and pull the MPN cable when working on the electrical.... |
