There's more than one way to skin the cat... you'll see other options for installation as they chime in.

THANKS EXTRACTOR... WHERE ARE THE 2 (BLUE AND GREEN) WIRES CONNECTED TO? IS YOUR CART 48 OR 36? THE ONE I AM WORKING ON IS 02 CC 36 RESISTOR CART. I AM TAKING OUT THE RESISTORS AND V GLIDE AND INSTALLING A PB-6 AND CONTROLLER (0-5K) LATER HOPING TO ADD 2 MORE BATERIES. i FINALLY LOCATED A WIRING DIAGRAM FOR 36 VOLT W/ CONTROLLER.

BOILERMAKER what are you going to do with your RESISTORS AND V GLIDE? Are you going to sell them and what is condition?
SORRY TO JUMP IN ON YOUR THREAD BUT?
Neighbor may need them for his cart and he cannot afford a NEW SETUP? Actually he cant afford anything but I may have to help him purchase whatever he can get as he is in a WHEEL CHAIR and NEEDS HIS GOLF CAR FOR MOVING AROUND PARK and getting grocerys etc.
Terrible to be old and crippled as well and loose his retirement income because of USA economy?

Actually, The Cart Belongs To A Hunting Buddy. The V Glide Is New. It Was Installed By The Local Cc Dealer, But They Wired The Previous One Wrong And It Melted Wires. They Wanted $2,000 To Upgrade To 48 Volts. We Decided To Tackle It Ourselves. Don't Know Enough About Resistors They Removed. He Will Probably Like To Sell Them If Everything Works Out On The Controller. I Finally Found A Diagram With A Controller For 36 Volt Cart. I Have Everything In But The Potbox , Which Has Been Tricky.. Trying To Get The Proper Amount Of Travel From The Accelerator Rod Linkage.

Boilermaker Please advise ( me ) if and when buddy is ready to sell extra parts. Neighbor and myself cannot afford new prices so this is why I contacted you in case parts were used but still servicable?

Sorry it took so long to get back...went on a mental vacation apparently (aka mother-in-law in town).

It's a 48v series cart. I think those blue and green wires handle the solenoid activation circuit.

Old Mec- if you haven't found the parts you're looking for let me know, I have stuff laying around after my upgrade. Always looking to help out those in need.
