Default 1991 club car ds with v glide will run on jack stands just not on the ground.

Hello all, I'm new here and having some issues. My 36V club car ds will run if it's off the ground (jack stands) but as soon as I set it down, it trys to move but wont. I've rebuilt the motor, got new solenoid and v glide in it. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

What shape are the batteries in? How old are they? What is the pack (total) voltage?

I'm with Moon. Start with the batteries.
I'm also with Nole. Welcome.

Seriously. Those old series carts are nearly bulletproof. I have a 90 myself. If you've replaced the solenoid, vglide and rebuilt the motor, there's not much left to check except for F/R and batteries. I'd start on batteries. Lot's of good information here http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...batteries.html. Good luck.

P.S. Don't tell Moon and Nole that I agreed with them. They'll expect me to do that more often.

Thanks guys, My batteries are brand new, 38V pack. I need to look at the Vglide to make sure that my arm brush is flush against tht contacts on the Vglide itself.
