Re: Trojan hydrolink
I just ordered it this week after replacing my batteries. It hasn’t arrived yet, so i don’t have much input.

Re: Trojan hydrolink
Watering systems sound like more of a pain than they’re worth IMO.
All of the Trojan batteries I have go for months before needing water. They get used 14-18 hours a day every day during the summer months. I top them off at the start of the season and might need to add water after three months. They just don’t lose water like other batteries. |

Re: Trojan hydrolink
I have seen many different battery fill systems. When they get older, they seem to stick and either overfill or don't fill at all. Every cart I fill, I give the caps a tap with a wrench or screwdriver. On a personal cart, I would not trust them.

Re: Trojan hydrolink
The watering systems for golfcarts are actually very good. I have been in the industrial battery industry for over 17 years, and these systems have come a long way.
That said, I would recommend a universal kit made by Flow-Rite or Battery Watering Technologies instead of Trojan. Why? Because you can use the universal kits on any brand of battery. You never know when you may burn out a post and need to swap out a battery. Sent from my SM-T387AA using Tapatalk |

Re: Trojan hydrolink
The general view by most in here is that the watering systems are problematic and are unreliable. Worse yet, if a battery were to explode you have an entire pack that can likely do the same at the same time.
i can see why a fleet owner would like to use them, but it is still a risk/reward situation. |
