FYI... 1014807 is the part number for the correct micro switch.

Thanks David

Airboataddict, the site above (RevolutionGolfCars.com) is the best place to order that switch.

Unfortunately if the Solenoid is not also clicking when you put the FNR on Reverse, You have another problem.

Look at the diagram I posted again specifically on FNR micro-switch #1, that switch with those 2 wires (White/Black and Green/White) can only go in that location in the FNR since it is the only place where the FNR cam has a lobe in either direction to activate the switch.

I’m located in Clewiston south Florida. A small town below lake okeechobee.

So I ordered the correct micro switches. Got everything together. Turn the key on, shift cart into forward and press the pedal. Solenoid clicks and you can hear a ringing noise coming from the motor or the controller but no movement. The resistor on top of the solenoid gets super hot when key is turned on. I removed all cables from motor and tested it with 12v. Motor runs forward and reverse so I know the motor is good. Kinda leaning towards a bad controller now but don’t want to jump the gun.

If the Solenoid is "Clicking" but the resistor is getting Hot, it looks like everything is working except for the Solenoid contacts not closing.

Hit the solenoid a couple of times with a rubber mallet or hammer handle, the plunger inside the Solenoid may be stuck.

You can also use your voltmeter to measure the voltage on the pre-charge resistor, when the solenoid "clicks", the voltage should go to 0v.

Key off/ 49V across the two top lugs on solenoid (resistor getting hot with key off too). Key on/ 49V across the two top lugs (resistor getting hot). FNR/key on or key off, resistor still getting hot. Press the pedal and solenoid clicks, two top lugs voltage drops to zero and resistor no longer gets hot

Leave the cable from the Solenoid to controller B+ connected, but disconnect the cable from controller B+ to motor.

If the resistor still gets hot the controller is bad.

Yellow wire running from solenoid to B+ on controller and green wire running from B+ On controller to A1 on motor. Left yellow wire on controller and removed green wire. Resistor still getting hot with wire removed.. Anyone know where I can get a reasonable priced controller? The one on it is a Curtis PMC 36v-48v and 225amp. Model #1204-410

I suggest replacing it with an Alltrax SR-48300. It's a 300 amp controller and will work fine with your factory components. The Alltrax has thermal protection and a 2 year warranty.
