CC Precedent parking brake
Forgive me if this is a stupid question but I noticed tonight that I am able to fairly easily roll my cart with the parking brake down since lifting it. Is there an adjustment somewhere for this?

Re: CC Precedent parking brake
Adjust the cable underneath the floor board. It is two 1/2" nuts back to back. I have found that when lifting a cart the linkage always comes loose!!

OOPS! You have a Precedent I see! Maybe it's the same?

Re: CC Precedent parking brake
I know on all club cars I have always adjusted that linkage! I have only lifted a couple of precedent's, so I'm unsure! But I think it would be the same.

Re: CC Precedent parking brake
Remove your floor mat by taking out the 4 screws on top at both edges, left and right side and underneath there will be an inspection plate. Remove that and you'll see where you have to adjust the brake pedal. Both cable ends fit into a metal bar and the brake pedal attaches to the center of the metal bar with the adjustment nuts. It's very simple actually. On mine the brake cable on the left rear wheel actually tightened, not loosened since it became shorter.

Awesome. I just finished up a few minutes ago and the overall braking is much better. Thanks for the info. |
