Question dual action leaf spring trouble

Hi All-

Need help with replacing my old single spring with dual action springs.

I can't seem to get the spring up to the shackle to bolt up. The new one made by Rhox has the same arc as the original single spring. I am approx. 6 inches low from the axle. I had less trouble putting new leaf springs on my 1966 Plymouth than I did this cart.
Am I missing something or what. The spring cannot be compressed enough to raise it up to the axle.
I looked at youtube videos and the ones I saw didn't seem to have the amount of arc mine has. Any help would be great. Thanks

6"!

And just stating the obvious, you have had a chance to verify the part # and it is correct to your make and model?

If so, then definitely need the pics so we can see what is inhibiting you....

There shouldn't be anything holding the axle. The spring is the only pat that it's attached to.
So what do you have holding the axle up while you swap the spring? You need to lower that so the axle can come down to the spring, bolt the spring to the axle loosely with the tie plate and u-bolt, then jack the axle back up so the spring comes up to the shackle.
Or just muscle up and pick it up.

here is the best pic I could get right now. The floor jack is underneath the axle so I can reach everything. you can see that the spring is well below where it needs to be.

Let the jack down. ? If I remember make sure the shocks are off or out of the way. I think I had both sides loose at the same time.

Wait a minute unhook the batteries before a motor post gets sparks. When you get it all back together check the wires on the controller , they may pull loose.

Brake cable hangers also

Only way that’s gonna happen is if you pick the cart up.

or you could save your back and just lower the jack...
