08 ds starts then stops
Hello alll,
I have a 2008 Club Car DS Batteries are fully charged checked voltage 55 on the pack, cart starts and takes off then dies. Same in reverse. Put cart on jack stands runs fine with no load, could this be solinoid dropping out under load? How do I test the solenoid before buying a new one or am I looking in the right direction Thanks in advance for any help |

And does it just move a foot or so or does it actually go down the road and then quit?

I backed it out of the garage and started to go down the street maybe went 10 feet or less as soon as I pressed the accelerator past 1/4 travel it died completely but would take off again if I barley touched the pedal

First thought is MCOR potentiometer. Try the old "Key off, depress the pedal 25-30 times and then try again". If it works better, you need to replace the MCOR.

I did your test and turned the power back on and it did do better so if it’s the MCOR how do you test for it ?

That was the test and proves the MCOR potentiometer is failed (failing). I do not know if you have a Precedent or a DS, but look here https://www.revolutiongolfcars.com/mcors for the correct Club Car replacement.
