well guys, thks for all the ideas and moral support. I went out this am and the charger had turned off automatically. So I unplugged it and tried to drive it and it WORKED like a champ. Lots of power front and rear. Guess I am just a worry wart. So from now on the battery charger stays plugged in when the cart is not in use. and I guess I should be ok. thks for all of your great and timely responses to my problem. But guess this ends this thread! Hopefully!! bigdad

I live in a community near Loudon and Lenoir City TN just west of Knoxville about 30 miles. It is called Tellico Village and it is a developers thing, not a city. So we have a HOA and POA and monthly assessments for common things. I love it in E. TN the people are so generous and thoughful. Sure beats where I moved from in Michigan just north of Detroit...its a different world in all parts...

stay happy and be like the rest of the good people in this great place.....we are all going to be fine, despite all the washington types and wall street types that are recreating our lives to something not all like, but, that's what is great about America. We get to vote and fire them if we don't agree...if we do we re-elect. peace to all. I am too old to hate and it only hurts the hater....bigdad

Love this place as a source of knowledge and inspiration but folks missed one possible solution. I had the EXACT symptoms as originally described. Bottom line - my outlet was dead. Yep, the GFCI circuit in the garage had tripped - probably on a rainy night when the outside Christmas lights were plugged in! Oh well, all connections are now bright and tight before it occurred to me that this particular outlet occasionally goes out but thought I would share-
