US Battery
About to pull the trigger on US Batteries this week. Two options
8VGCE for 99.00 8VGC for 124.00 Is 25.00 more per battery worth going with the GC over the GCE? 2 year warranty on both of them. |

Re: US Battery
Looking like 170 AH for the GC vs 155 AH rating for the GCE.

Re: US Battery
Get the 170ah model. They'll last longer and give more range plus, batteries are an area I wouldn't cheap out on because it'll affect anything else performance wise you do to the cart in the next 5 years.

Re: US Battery
I picked up the 8VGC last week for my CC DS due to the 170AH. Still waiting on my controller and HD solenoid so they have not been hooked up yet. But there are many great reviews about them online so that’s why I chose them [emoji1303]- keep the thread going and we can update it as we go if you choose them.

Re: US Battery
I went with the US Battery 8VGCHC which are the 183aH high capacity golf cart battery. I was ready to get 6 of the 8VGC but haggled with the local battery warehouse here and they cut me a deal on them for $125 each. They had quoted me $114 each for the 8VGC. I jumped at the chance to get batteries with 10% more capacity. More is always better when talking battery capacity. JMHO

Re: US Battery
Picking up the 170 AH 8VGC tomorrow. Ordered alltrax controller today, now to figure out how to install that when it shows up. 125.00 each out the door.

I’ve been reading the diagrams and it seems pretty straight forward. I ordered all cables, controller and solenoid from scottyb and he’s been awesome at answering ALL my questions. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Re: US Battery
It gets better....they didn’t charge me a disposal fee for the cores either. Only sales tax. The company I work for does a lot of business with them for portable x-ray machine batteries and giant UPS batteries so they hooked me up.
