Default Controller Wiring 2016 CC Precedent

Ok I know I did something wrong.

Probably to do with resistor and diode placement. Left side is from positive battery bank, right side is to controller. The long (top) came from Dave, the tiny/short (bottom) came with resistor. I still have stock one if needed.

Either this is wrong or the fuse is wrong (currently on negative) diagram shows it on positive.. not sure that mattered

The diode is backwards on the field coil. Look at this instruction http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...ml#post1557532 from the Sticky's.

Blue wire is the Pos (+) activation wire and Blue w/White stripe is the Neg (-) activation wire. Banded/striped end of the diode should go towards the Pos activation wire.

If it were mine, I would leave the diode direction as is and swap the Blue and the Blue w/White stripe wires around. I like all my Pos's on one side....

Lol! Use your Alltrax Tool kit to tune the throttle and other settings to make it the most comfortable for your needs. By far the best controllers on the market right now....

Good Luck!

And BTW, you do not have your cables quite oriented the way you should on the controller side large post. You want the highest amperage cable (largest size) on the bottom which places it in direct contact with the solenoid. Then the others will go one top of it. The way you have it now could cause it to come loose, create heat, or lose contact.

Thanks for the text earlier. Glad you got it going. And NoleFan4ever, thank you for helping my customers on BGW during the day while I'm at the shop building golf cars. It's greatly appreciated.
