Default Shocks

Morning All - I recently added the HD springs to my cart & it seems to ride rough. Could this be due to the shocks are extended out or worn? I'm running the original shocks on my 06 Precendent. Has anyone upgraded shocks when they went to HD springs in rear?? How'd you like it and what did you go with.

your rough ride is from the HD leaf springs , shocks are not going to fix that . shocks only dampen a bump along the ride

I had hd leaf springs with shocks and had a horrible ride. I upgraded to dual action rear leaf springs and got rid of shocks, too. The ride is much better on roads and small bumps. But When going over speed bumps in my neighborhood, I sometimes wonder if having air shocks would improve the shock of the larger jolts .

Most people here consider this shock a huge improvement over the rear stock CC shocks. I have never seen an acceptable substitute front shock.
