Default Entire replacement wiring for 36V resistor cart ????

Does anyone know if there are entire replacement wiring kits for 36v resistor carts?

I have a few wires that could used to be replaced and would like to replace all of them.

Not having any luck locating anything on the net.

Thanks

Thanks, scottyb.

I thought that might be the situation. I've started doing some research on wire and lugs and figured that if I'm gonna do it, might as well use 4 AWG wire for the power portion.

Just yesterday I removed and cleaned all the battery cables, post, & nuts. Sprayed everything down with corrosion prevention spray and it looks a lot better..

I do need to replace a few of the nuts on the bat cables as they have shrunk due to the corrosion over the years, but the cart is in pretty good shape.

It is a simple system. Just do one wire at a time

read the end of this thread.... http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...e-v-glide.html......I posted all the cables, lug sizes and lengths for your cables...start making them now at your leisure and install when you feel like it. It takes longer to make them all and solder the lugs on than one would think

Hey oxfordlawn,
Did you use 4AWG for all the wires including the F/R switch?

Or anyone else?

Thanks

Yes I used 4 AWG welding cable. everytrhing I used was purchased from acehardwareoutlet.com I was actually thinking after I posted the info the other day, If you do order everything to do this...buy 6AWG 1/4 " lugs as well. They are only 5 or 6 bucks for a pack of 10 I think, the reason is try them and see how they fit for the VGlide. The 4 AWG Lugs needed to be ground down on the sides to fit, and I also had to break out the plastic spacers off the VGlide which was between each wire. You will understand when you see it. But try the 6 AWG lugs because there was a lot of room inthe lugs for the wire and solder, I believe you will be able to solder 6 AWG lugs onto the 4 AWG wire for the VGlide for just that tiny bit of clearance ya need.

If not..oh well ya blew a few bucks..not the end of the world, But I think it will work
