CC Precedent 06. Adding accessories
New poster and fairly new to wiring. Any help would be gratefully appreciated. I have been up and down these forums and found a lot of helpful information, but nothing that perfectly matches my current situation.
I got my 06 CC precedent 48v (4 12v) cart last summer. Everything runs as should and seems to be factory wired. Just like every cart enthusiast, I want to add more. So, I upgraded my light kit to the LED's for the brightness and potential battery saver. I followed the straight forward instructions and it was a simple install with the 12 pin plug in behind the dash. And it also recommended a 48v to 12v voltage reducer so I purchased that as well. The voltage reducer came with it's own 12 pin plug harness that connected between the light kits wire harness, so that was also super easy to install. Everything works great as of right now. Which brings me to why I am here. I want to add a stereo system (which I just ordered) and it comes with a console and speakers that mounts under the roof top. And I also want to add a usb/cigarette port. So, after reading the forum I bought a blue sea fuse block to add in these accessories. I want to wire the fuse block in after the new voltage reducer I got and before the lights. But, I am not sure how to wire it in the with the current crazy harness coming out of the reducer. This is where I need the help or a diagram. And I also want to add a cut off toggle switch before the reducer to make sure all power is off. Thanks for listening! Roger |

Is that a Volt (2002, 3, or 4) reducer? If so, here is a diagram for the color orientation.
And Welcome to BGW! |

I was thinking of wiring it the way in your diagram. Then run a positive from the fuse block back to the red wire in the harness (the one I'm taking to run into the fuse block)? |
