Default '91 CC Trouble shooting

I have had this cart since'94. It was on a course that flooded and was completely underwater. I cleaaned everything, even the motor windings when I got the cart. I have broken the cart down once more since the initial purchase.
I was sick the past year and was unable to use the cart, but it was needing batteries before I got sick.

I just added batteries and some new cables (I made with lugs). Hooked everything up... and I get nothing...

I have check continuity across all the battery cables. Also checked voltage. I have checked the wiring schematics several times, Everything looks in place and I get continuity across all the cables.

What do I do now?

eelcram,
I'm sure the experts will be coming along soon to help, but can you give more info on 36V? resistor style?

I ask cause I have a 91' 36V CC that I have been working on for the last 4 years and I have some knowledge.. and will try to help.

With the key off, do you hear a click when you slowly step on the peddle?

These carts have 3 seperate circuits that make the vehicle operate. The first one is the Control Circuit which will allow the solenoid to close (click) if everything is working. Even if the key is off and the F/R switch is in nuetral.

Good place to start and then I can follow the troubleshooting guide from there.

NO click when the switch is off.... no click with it on either...

I do not think it was a click more than some ype of contact noise, but I did hear something in the wiper assembly

Your solenoid is not engaging. Probably something simple that is not connected, or could be a bad solenoid.

What is you voltage across your battery pack?

Wires to key switch tight and connected at both ends good?

Make sure that your F/R Anti-arcing micro switch is connected as well.

We can test the whole circuit of the cart without disconnecting anything. I will right it up and send it if you would like? Can do it with the control circuit first, then the power circuit.

I have not put the charger on the cart, yet! Waiting to make sure the cart runs...

The voltage across the pack is 36.8.

Key switch is good. I had already shecked it and just checked it again..

Micro switch is connected as well.

I will go check everything again.....

Alrighty...

No charge or continuity across the solenoid... no clicks... zippo!

Switch checked ok.

micro switch at F/R checks ok

micro switch in wiper assembly checks ok

all wires and cables show continuity (ok)

Assuming the solenoid is good something must not be connected. 36.8V is pretty low but should still give you enough juice to make it move.
