CC-WIND-DOT-2Pc for a CC Precedent
Just checked and its $199 now which isnt terrible. Did you mount the wiper on the top half or the bottom half of the fold down? And when the windshield is folded down does the wiper parts touch the other half of the windshield?

With the windshield UP I mounted the wiper on the top/folding part of the windshield. Be careful not to drill the hold to close to the flap portion of the windshield since the inside nut needs a bit more clearance on the inside of the windshield to clear the flap. The wiper will clear everything and when folded, will be tucked against the flap portion of the windshield. I've included a few pictures that might help.

Did anyone have to send in pics with your paperwork of the cart in finished form? I have to get a DOT windshield with wiper and triangle for the back and am hoping that I dont have to wait for those items just to get a couple pictures and wait another 3 weeks for an appointment. But on the instructions I have it says:
Before submitting your paperwork make sure you have the following
1. $40 inspection fee
2. two photographs, in focus, of the CONVERTED GOLF CART/LSV in its completed condition from two or more angles showing it in its entirety.

If they are going to inspect the cart anyway why would they need pics in advance???

Ok well I have my cart ready for inspection but I cant find an insurance agency that will insure the cart for street use. I have called everyone I can think of and the few that I have found that will insure for street use will not give it its own policy, they require that I have my vehicles attached to it. I currently use Geico and they will not insure golf carts, only for recreational use. I have got a couple quotes including the 3 vehicles I have and the golf cart and for the same coverage they are much more then I pay now so I cant see switching. If anyone has run into this issue and knows an insurance agent that will write a golf cart its own policy in FL can you give me the phone number? Does anyone have cart registered in FL and only keep recreational insurance? I am assuming that a recreational insurance card looks just like a regular insurance card but I have never dealt with this issue so I dont know. Any help would be appreciated!

the is registered and insured in florida as a 2014 ASPT (not a golf cart) though statefarm and it carries a full policy not recreation insureance.

You have your cars insured through state farm too I take it? Thats the issue I have is in order to insure a golf cart for street use I must already have my vehicles insured with the same agency. My vehicles are insured with Geico and they dont do LSV for street use so I need an independent policy for golf cart only which is turning out to be difficult to find.

Yea good luck. I'm in Delray beach and went through the same deal. I even have geico too. The best deal I could find was through allstate at $1290 for 6 months for my Audi Q5 with 100/300 coverage, and the ASPT 2P (club car) which had the lowest minimums they could put on it. State farm came in second place about $100 more expensive per 6 months.
