Default noob battery hookup

I just got new batteries for my 48volt club car. I have all of them hooked up negative to positive. Then there are two wires that run from the back. On those I have negative on the drivers side and positive on the passenger side. When I hook up the drivers side it throws sparks.

I made a picture of how I have it hooked up. I looked at the wiring diagram but can't really tell.

If you can't tell from my picture, the red wire runs to the front positive. I looked at the diagram again and it almost looks like it is ran to the back positive. The same place where the wire comes from the back and hooks up??

Edit: I moved the front red wire to the back positive (with other red line). Hooked up the negative on the drivers side then positive on passenger side. One spark and I don't think its going to work. I did not try moving it, but I get no reverse buzz. :(

just read this

Gmorrison:Batterys were installed a month ago and cart has been running fine before the issue popped up.No I did not blow the mcor when installing batterys. To help you understand some things about the IQ system You always put the tow/run in tow before disconnecting batt.cable.Failure to do so can blow the controller.I never heard of blowing a mcor.
:(

I am going broke making this thing run.

Hooked up the charger and it did nothing. Put cart in reverse and it buzzed. Moved it forward a couple of inches. Unplugged charger then plug it back up. Started charging and then I drove it about a 1/4 mile.
