Default CA.L

The volt meter on the cart is reading CA.L ....... no idea what that means.

I have not use the cart for probably nearly 2 months. It has been plugged into the charger the whole time and batteries fully watered. Each time I check on it, the volt meter showed full charge are .2 or .4 below full. I have not checked it in the past 4-5 days.

I just unplugged the charger and will take if for a short spin before plugging back up.

Anyone know what the CA.L means/for?

Could mean Calibrate?
Is the meter connected direct to the pack? Maybe unhooking it for a bit will reset it?

That was my first thought, but had no idea it could be calibrated nor how to do it. I will disconnect the pack. IIRC the meter is tied in somewhere in the panel, I think on the key switch.

My main concern was battery problem when I saw the cart meter. 4 batteries read 8.3, one 8.2, and one 8.4, total read was 51 on my multimeter. Made a short 1.5 mi trip, and it ran as good/better than normal.

You were right. I disconnected the pack until the meter lost energy, reconnected and it read 51.3, multimeter read 51 ..... all good.

I have no idea why the meter stopped reading V, but will know the cure next time
