Default 400a fuse

Question about the 400 amp fuse where can I put it where it would be safe I have seen pictures and posts placing it off the main battery terminal positive I’ve also heard putting it on the B+ of the Alltrax XCT controller. I am assembling the controller now and I am at the point of placing the fuse just looking for a good place to put it

Electrons move from negative to positive, however that is a talk for another day. According to Alltrax, it dosn't matter just put it somewhere, however when they are near a battery they could get that corrosion funk between the layers that make up these fuses, I place mine on the controller. I have had corrosion infected fuses that gave me some serious heartache

Thanks LabRat I appreciate the info. I was hoping to put it off the controller and not on a battery terminal

I've put many on the controller B- and on the Solenoid B+. Both are clean logical places to install the fuse.

Scotty B is the man! Sold me an Alltrax XCT and 400a diode form my cart. Installed with easy to follow directions. Even helped with the above issue.

Holy crap is the cart fast!! Spun the tires on gravel roads, great response should have done this sooner.

Anytime anyone needs parts PLEASE support the site sponsors they are great, fast shipping, and help after the sale.

Time for a beer

Just to clear this up for others following or reading the thread, on an XCT (or any sepex cart) when you install the controller and your directions are reversed, you need to go back and swap the F1 & F2 cables to correct the field.
