Default 2013 Precedent

Hi all,
I have a 2013 Club Car Precedent that currently will not run. Batteries are reading 50v. Tested the key, F&R switch and the run tow switch. All seemed fine. I believe it maybe a problem with the MCOR.
When I turn the key on and cycle the F&R switch I get one beep every time I go into reverse and nothing after that. The solenoid never clicks.
I have also tried hooking up my Curtis Hand Held for diag. I can not get it to come on. When the F&R switch is changed from F to R I get the same one Beep and the hand held flash on then off again.
Does the MCOR sound like it could be my problem?

Possible it’s the MCOR but it could also be the OBC not allowing it to engage. Had one the other day doing the same thing; switched out the OBC and it came right on.

Solenoid diode perhaps or solenoid itself maybe. MCOR would, effect throttle response. Your issue seems more controller related based on your input. Do a speed sensor test too just to rule that out. I would also do a continuity test on the motor terminals with leads being disconnected from each.

That really sounds like a controller or power supply issue.

The MCOR will hold out a permissive needed to pull the solenoid low, but that will not keep the Rev buzzer from sounding. The OBC shouldn't unless the lockout circuit is intermittent which is what I think TW81 had occur and is referring too. You can test for this by jumpering the Blue and White wires together at the harness side of the 6 pin connector.

Bypass the OBC circuit as NoleFan4ever described above. Something is keeping the controller from powering up. The OBC is responsible for providing this circuit to the controller.

I'd check all of the battery cable connections first. Sounds like a loose or corroded connection not providing enough power for the controller to turn on.

I jumped the blue and white wire together like NoleFan4Ever recommended and the cart work perfectly. So it looks like the OBC is bad.

Definitely. You now have the option to replace the OBC or to buy a smart charger that doesn't require the OBC. If you choose to go with a new charger you bypass the OBC permanently by making a permanent jumper between the two wires you just jumped together, and routing the black wire from the charge port to the main negative battery terminal permanently. The OBC for a 2013 Precedent would be OEM #105138101 if you're interested in replacing the OBC.

I'll bet there are people on this forum who have replaced perfectly good OBCs just because they prefer the smart charger or because they have upgraded to Lithium or whatever. They may like to give or sell their OBC.

Otherwise, if you need to buy a new OBC or new smart charger I recommend you contact David (TahoeDawgZ71) at Revolution Golf Cars as he will make sure you get exactly what you need.
