Default 85 ds lost power

While driving my DS at night I heard a click and then lost all power. Lights still operational however no power forward or back. Anyone know where fuses are or if this issue has been frequent with others? Am I on the right track looking for fuses?

Thanks in Advance

Hello FloridaJohn. Welcome to BGW.

Let's start by telling everyone the year, voltage, and drive system you have. Serial number will help.

It’s probably an ‘85 36v “5 solenoid” system?

Is there a row of black solenoids behind the batteries with large wire coils above them?

I would first look at the FNR (forward/neutral/reverse) switch on the back side. Make sure none of the cables are frayed/come loose/poor shape.

A gold star goes to each of you ! I rewired the FNR and all connections and it is back to normal. Not sure which wire was bad.... just replaced them all. Also found the SN which confirmed 85 ds Again, Thank you. You prob saved me A few hundred bucks !
