Default Club Car Carryall auto brakes and fuel light

I got a 2013 club car carryall 6 that was let go for a while and I've been over a month now trying to fix a zillion things. Right now I'm stumped on disabling the auto brakes and getting the red bar light fuel gauge to shut off.
I put in other batteries from my other golf cart for the time being and I finally got the charge to go to completion but the charge profile is probably wrong for these batteries NAPA 8144 vs original Trojan-T-145's (8-6's). I doubt that's what causing that red light to stay on. The pack reads 51.6 after stabilizing several hours after charge. That's 6.45V average and new ones are usually about 6.3V. The depth isn't bad. The cart would probably drive 10-15 miles before needing charged again. I've considered just wiring it to go on and off with the key switch if that's possible and also switching to a digital V gauge. As for now I just have it disconnected so I don't have to see it but I do need some way to monitor state of charge or volts. On this one I'd probably charge it at about 50.6V.
The other problem is my auto brakes. I definitely don't want that. The 3 brake lights come on every time I let off the accelerator and it slows. I can't find anything on disabling that or even my motor or speed sensor type. I've considered trying to jump terminals to make it think the carts not moving. I unplugged what is probably the speed sensor(s) but that just made the braking stay on or something dragging real bad even with the accelerator depressed. I can't even find anything on this motor. The name is "thermotuhler." It says AC with internal sensor. I'm sure it's the original motor. I can't find any mention of it anywhere. My parts and repair manual does not show a speed sensor but there are small wires that go into the motor with the large cables. Any help or insight is appreciated.
I also can't figure what "MCOR" I have if any or if I have regen or not.

ser no. 5J5LC22BADA362944

edit: I probably won't be putting much money in this but I'd like to get it working how I want in order to decide if I want to keep it or get another cart. I sure miss my basic yamaha.
