Voltage reducer questions
Ok getting ready to install one and have a few questions. First where is everyone mounting the reducer, fuse blocks & buss bars? Not much room in battery compartment on my 02 DS. Second, I've been studying Scotty B's install diagram on his website and don't see anything concerning switches (probably missing it) and how these tie into wiring scheme. Would one wire come from accessory power to switch (out) with other power wire ( in) going from switch to fuse block?

Re: Voltage reducer questions
Should probably start out by showing the reducer you have.

Re: Voltage reducer questions
Guess that would help...lol. Probably be getting the Veego kit that Scotty B sells. https://www.cartsunlimited.net/12v-reducers.html

Re: Voltage reducer questions
I suggest the RHOX reducer. It bolted right up to pre-drilled holes on the inside of the frame on the driver's side under the OBC. I placed my fuse block inside a Tupperware sandwich container and attached it in the glove box area on passenger side. All my 12 volt accessories are up front. Here's a pic of my dash and the homemade fuse block box. Easy to access too.

Re: Voltage reducer questions
I installed mine when I put a light kit on my 2009 Precedent. Mounted it in a space that wouldn't get bumped. I had to take a battery out to attach it. In my cart it is behind my right knee in the battery comp if I were sitting behind the wheel. I bought a cheap one, so it didn't have the connector. Attached is a diagram of the wiring I used from a video by Wayne Martin on YouTube.

Re: Voltage reducer questions
That's a great idea, I like the idea of easy access to fuse box.

Re: Voltage reducer questions
Ok locations for both reducer and fuse box figured out. Do have another question concerning how to wire switches...since each accessory (in this case 3 LED lights) needs a ground which I will connect directly to buss bar. Is it ok to share grounds with each switch powering the lights? In this case I would have only 1 wire going to buss bar (for all 3 toggle switches) to ground all 3 instead of all 3 having a separate wire going to buss bar.
