Default Alltrax install complete

First a shout out to David Hicks at Revolutiongolfcars for shipping the controller within 1 hour of purchase. The installation was somewhat difficult considering my lack of electrical, technical and/or mechanical background but I persevered and I’m basically finished except for connecting the large pin connector and hooking back up all the batteries. If I could just get a once over to see if I missed anything or don’t have the F1 and F2 correct. The regen diode was included in the shipment and installed. I have a stock solenoid, so I didn’t install the coil diode.

Motor A1 (green) to controller B+
Motor F1 (orange) to J7
Motor F2 (blue) to J8
Motor A2 (white) to J9

Thanks in advance and I would have never gotten this far if it wasn’t for the knowledge, advice and guidance that has already been provided by the many great people on this site.

That looks real clean!
Can't comment on the connections, I haven't upgraded yet.

Finally got the nerve to complete the entire install process and see if I miraculously installed the controller correctly. I secured the two batteries I removed and connected the large pin connector. I then installed the fuse on the positive battery wire and then connected to the terminal. I connected the negative wire to the terminal and saw a very, very small spark, which I think is somewhat normal. I inserted the key, turned to on and NOTHING. However, the lights and blinkers worked. I proceeded to unhook the negative wire and was about to check all wire connections until I realized I forgot to switch from tow to run. I then put the negative wire on the terminal again and I saw another spark that was small but definitely larger than the first. I'm now even more nervous of switching from tow to run.

Everything appears to be connected correctly in your drawing. The spark you're seeing may be related to a voltage reducer that's installed on your cart for your headlights or other 12 volt accesories. In which case, this would be normal.

IT RUNS! Thank you David for a fast shipment, great product and perfectly programmed unit. Speed increased from 19 to 24 mph on flat pavement. UNREAL. I only went around my block because I still want to tweak my front alignment but I couldn't be more thrilled. I'll post more results later today but on first impression, the initial pickup was a little better, and the regenerative breaking was significantly more present. With the stock controller, regen only kicked in when going down a hill and only after I slowed to about 7-10 mph. Now it kicks in as soon as I take my foot off the pedal and almost brings me to a complete stop within a short distance. I definitely didn't like the regen before as it felt somewhat unpredictable and I'll have to see if I like the fact that I won't be able to coast. Maybe that is adjustable with the Alltrax.

It is 100% adjustable within the Alltrax Tool Kit.
