Can use 12 v cart batteries, will give shorter run time. Deep cell marine batteries are not designed for this heavy draw, and auto batteries are not designed for this duty cycle.

Not sure on run time but should go 1500 to 2000 charge cycles if maintained.

your gonna spend more time with the cart on the charger than running the cart and your gonna buy batts, every 2 years........i know they arn,t cheap ( golf cart batts ) but putting in 12 volt batts is just throwing money away.........get the cart batteries you can afford and if you break them in right and maintain them right even just a decent set will get you 5 or 6 years and you,ll spend your time riding the cart instead of charging it...............................
