Default Precedent Tight Brakes

Backstory: I recently installed new All-Sport HD Leaf springs in a 2015 Precedent, in doing so there was very limited slack in the brake lines after install.

Today, I finally got the cart put back together, and now when I touch the brakes it is way to sensitive and brakes hard, almost to a skid as soon as I touch the brakes. What measure should I take to try to make them less sensitive? Is there a way to let a little slack out in the lines?

I should have noted that this cart is not lifted, but does have the HD all sport leaf springs

I have read posts of people flipping the backing plate to move the cable from the bottom to the top. Although this was the solution for lifted carts. I believe there is also a longer brake cable available for lifted cart applications. Did the new springs raise the ride height at all?? Did you move the cable routing??

Cable routing is the same, it did raise it a bit to support the added weight of the backseat and extra passengers. Although I still have stock wheels and tires on it from what I’ve read adding the HD springs to the rear only causes the same issues as if I did have say a 6 inch lift on it. I’m thinking I might go the route of putting a passenger side brake cable on the driver side and see if that solution fixes it. I really think the line is just strained too much with the new HD springs. I appreciate the input!

Isn’t that adjustment for the play in the brake pedal not for the actual brake line?

No. It adjusts the length and slack in the brake lines. Use the adjustment. It will fix your problem. 2 13mm wrenches are needed.
