Default CC DS Front End Damage

I am thinking of buying an 03 DS that has damage to the passenger side of the front end. I have read threads that you can either try to straighten the frame or install a lift kit on it. Can someone give me the best advice for this cart? Is is best I find an old frame to swap parts on or would a lift kit correct most of this damage?

Depends on the price. Are you 100% certain there is frame damage and/or front end damage. The front cowl is easy to swap but I dont think it owuld make much sense to swap that cart onto a new frame I would just buy a different cart. A lift kit may not fix everything depending on where the damage is.

Looks like there’s at minimum steering and frame damage. Would be nice to see some pictures from underneath.

Did the owner say the frame is bent?
Can’t tell from any of those pics.

At the very least it probably needs a control arm and leaf spring. And depending how hard it hit the wall/fence post it might need tie rod ends on the passenger side.

Yes, the owner told me the frame was bent. I think I will keep looking for another cart at this time.

Depends on the price, a wreck cart not running is worth its weight at the scrap yard. However the DS is the queen of the prom. Consider buying as a parts cart & looking for another to fix up.
