1997 Model Club Car Batteries
Looks like my batteries are dying. By using multimeter, 4 of the batteries have 6.20 reading, the other 2 have 4.0 something. My Club Car is a 1997 Model and not sure what exactly the voltage of the batteries - are they 6 volts each? Thanks

Re: 1997 Model Club Car Batteries
If they have three (3) fill caps on top they are 6v and if the have four (4) fill caps they are 8v.
Buy quality batteries. US, Trojan, Crown, etc. Not off name or generics. Generally, the little you save cost you in life and longevity. |

Hi, I might buy a new 6 volts batteries for my club car golf cart for the next spring. Can anyone suggest the best and discounted websites in the US? Thank you

Yep. Local is the only way, and prices vary a lot by location.

Thanks. I live in Toronto and has a US PO Box. Was planning to ship it to my po box and pick up there if the price is still reasonable.

Re: 1997 Model Club Car Batteries
How about El-Don Battery Post & Golf Car Centre https://www.buffalosbestbatteries.com/? or Golf Car City https://golfcarcity.net/
I don't know anything about them but I looked on Google Maps and saw that Buffalo is just down the road from you. You could drive to these places and save the shipping. Give them a call and see what they'll do a set for. I agree with NoleFan4Ever. You are better off getting a brand name (Trojan, US Battery or Crown) rather than a cheaper generic brand. |
